

Dr. Edwin Yue received his PhD in Cardiovascular Medicine from Tongji Medical University (now Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology) in Wuhan, China, in 1999. Since 2001, he has been working at the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System in Brooklyn, dedicating his career to both basic and clinical research in cardiac electrophysiology.
His research focuses on the regulatory mechanisms of ion channels, the role of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in cardioprotection, and the pathophysiology of potassium channels. He has made significant contributions to the understanding of autoimmune channelopathies and the mechanisms underlying sudden cardiac death.
Beyond his scientific endeavors, Dr. Yue values a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
